For once, Anael actually twitched when Baal prodded into her mind. She'd left her walls up, not wanting him to have to see what she was feeling, but of course he always got past her defenses. She put the feather down in her lap and clasped her hands together, her swinging legs stilling their movement. She looked down, over the cloud, through the gentle mist that was the clouds below them and to the Earth below. She'd always enjoyed her time there, it was pleasant to walk among the humans, their emotions so widely ranged. But how would it feel to have to become one of them? To no longer blend into the scenery of the world as if she were non-existent? Would she be able to handle being stuck there, with no escape to the wonderful land above?
To his question, she could only nod her head. A silent tear slid down her cheek at the thought of what was to come, though her worries were more for Baal than for herself. "I'm sorry..." Anael whispered again, unable to help herself. It was like she needed to say the words over and over, her body was forcing them from her. She tilted her head back slightly as he pulled her chin up, a tiny sigh making it through her lips before she realized that his lips were on hers. Her eyes closed slowly, a hand coming up to rest on his shoulder as she accepted the affection she needed.
She pulled back, but not too far as he moved to speak. Letting her arm fall back to her side, she leaned into his body slightly, enjoying the heat it offered. She couldn't help but to smile a little at his words... just knowing he wanted to be with her, no matter their fate, helped to lighten her mood a little.
She lifted the feather from her lap to let him see. "I found this in my wing this morning... which is why I'm guessing what's going to happen tomorrow." She shook her head a little, looking up again to feel the heat from the light on her face. "I can't decide if I should be enjoying what could be my last day, or repenting and trying to make it right..." Her instinct knew that she wouldn't be able to change Her mind in just one day. The decision was already made, she just had to find out for sure what it was.

I'm a member of Elliquiy and Odyssey, if that helps. Please keep it clean. There will be time to discover the really dirty details in a more private area.
Hopefully that's clean enough. ^^
